Our Story
Detrás de Todo was born from the need of families for a kindergarten in the Padre Mugica neighborhood. From the beginning, our goal was to offer an educational space that would involve families and respect the cultural diversity of the neighborhood. While we were working on the construction of this kindergarten, we also began to carry out artistic workshops and school support for children and adolescents.
In 2011, we opened the “Sueños Bajitos” Kindergarten, a comprehensive educational space for children in the neighborhood.
Over the years, the garden grew and became a point of reference in the community. However, to ensure the continuity and future of the project, in 2020 we decided to hand over its management to the Asociación Civil El Hormiguero, trusting in its commitment to inclusive and popular education. This decision allowed us to guarantee the permanence of the garden and its connection with the neighborhood.
Despite this transition, Detrás de Todo continued to maintain and expand the spaces we had created from the beginning.
Children's Activity Center (CAI)
A program of the Ministry of Education of CABA that seeks to strengthen the educational paths of primary-aged children through artistic-recreational workshops and ESI on Saturdays, in addition to a weekly space with community teachers to accompany educational processes.
Tutoring for primary and secondary school
accompanying students in their educational paths.
Artistic workshops with a focus on Human Rights
visual arts, theatre, music and Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) throughout the week, aimed at adolescents with comprehensive support from social workers and educational psychologists.
Space for social promotion and advice on rights for families
which seeks to guarantee access to fundamental rights and provide support in situations of vulnerability.

At Detrás de Todo, we work with the conviction that rights must be promoted and guaranteed. We believe that every child and adolescent in the Padre Mugica neighborhood deserves a space where their education, culture and well-being are respected and promoted. Our commitment is that this project, which was born from a need in the neighborhood, will endure over time.
